What Bluesky link format works?
Paste a post URL: bsky.app/profile/handle/post/ID from Share → Copy link. Profile-only URLs are not supported on the homepage paste field — open the post with the media and copy that link.
How do I copy a Bluesky link on mobile or web?
On phone: open the post in the Bluesky app, tap Share → Copy link. On desktop: copy the bsky.app address bar. Our mobile and web copy-link guides walk through each step before you paste the URL here.
Need a specific format?

Can I download an entire Bluesky thread?
Paste each post URL individually for now. Full thread bundling is not supported yet — the Thread tool saves attachments from one post at a time.
Do I need a Bluesky login to download?
No account on SMDownloader — but the post must be public. If you must sign in to view it in a browser, or the account blocks you, our servers cannot fetch the media either.
Text-only Bluesky posts?
No file is returned. This bsky downloader only works when the post has video, images, or a GIF attached — quotes and replies without media will fail like they would in preview.
Why won't my Bluesky URL download?
Common causes: text-only posts, private or blocked accounts, deleted posts, or an incomplete URL. Confirm the post opens in an incognito window, paste the full Share → Copy link URL, then retry once.
